Find out the story behind the modern co-operative movement. The Manx Co-operative Society is holding an exclusive screening of The Rochdale Pioneers at the Manx Museum at 19.00 on Wednesday 27th February. This film was specially commissioned to mark the International Year of the Co-operative and charts how a group of shopkeepers from Rochdale decided it was time to try a fairer way to buy and sell goods in an age of quick profits and poor quality produce.
